Waterway Advocates is a rising force in the movement to improve and protect our ecosystems. Our mission is to facilitate meaningful service-learning experiences that engage local communities in beautifying and protecting our ecosystems. Our unique programs and services are founded in a holistic approach to environmental stewardship.

Reducing Plastic

We clean communities and natural areas to help prevent wildlife from choking, eating, or becoming entangled in plastic and other trash.

Reducing Runoff

Pollution runoff is causing fish kills in Biscayne Bay. We mobilize volunteers to restore native habitats, stop pesticide use, and reduce pollutants making their way into our waterways.

Growing Together

By educating community members through online resources, articles, and in-person experiences, we hope to foster a more resilient South Florida with a smaller carbon footprint.
